Cleaning Up & Storing Your Holiday Wrapping Paper - A Tip From Me to You!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you all have been able to enjoy this season with those you love most. One of my least favorite parts of this time of year is all the clean up that comes with it. There’s stuff everywhere it seems! Here’s a quick and simple tip for you as you begin cleaning up and storing away your holiday wrapping for next season.

If you’re like me, you hate when rolls of paper begin to unroll. So, use some of your extra scraps to create a small paper “tie”/holder for around that roll. Simply cut a scrap so that it fits around your roll of paper plus a little extra so you can easily slide it on and off as you finish using the paper. If it’s too loose, it’ll slide down and if it’s too tight, you can’t maneuver it easily so find that perfect middle ground! Secure with a piece of tape. I stand up all my rolls of paper and if you get it just right, nothing will move until next year.

No need for a rubber band. $0. You’ve already got all the supplies you need to do this. Takes 10 seconds. And, you can use up a little bit of scrap paper that would otherwise go in the garbage. Win-win in my book.

Hope this quick tip can be of use to you! Happy Holidays!
